We will soon be celebrating our 47th anniversary! With that being said, we have been blessed in so many ways and wanted to take a minute to share with you what we are especially thankful for this holiday season…

Our Employees
We have been so fortunate to be home to the most talented, hard-working, and loyal employees. It is easy to consider our employees as family, especially when many have been with us for over 20 years. There are days when our employees wear many hats, and they do it with a smile. This attitude makes Focal Point such a fun, warm place to work and to visit!
Our Communities
Since our doors opened in 1973, we have made it a priority to get involved with our community. Downtown Farmington has been the home to our studio for over 46 years and Downtown Plymouth for the past 8 years. Each of the downtown areas organize such fun events all year round that we love helping to organize, participate in, and donate to. One of our favorite events we are involved with, is the Holly Days in downtown Farmington. Santa comes for a visit and we photograph each family at no charge. It is so fun seeing the kids faces light up when they see Santa. Such a great tradition!
Continued education
One of our biggest priorities has always been continuing education for our photographers, graphic designers, retouchers and sales staff. It is so important to stay up to date with current trends and technology. Our favorite conference to attend is SYNC. We attribute so much of our continued success to the connections we have made at SYNC. We come away each year with so many great ideas but most of all great friends. We are so inspired by the creativity of the photographers we have met who travel all across the country to attend this conference. Last year, two of our photographers were asked to be headline speakers at this national conference, such an honor. We look forward to attending again this winter and can’t wait to come back and share with you, all what that we have learned!
Our Studios
We pride ourselves on being one of the only studios left in Metro Detroit to have two brick and mortar studios. Both of our studios are located in adorable, thriving downtown areas. Our creative and talented photographers are always revamping our studios by creating and investing in new backgrounds, props, and coming up with new sets to keep up with the forever evolving trends. Our surrounding downtown areas add to our endless shooting options!

Our Clients
Last but certainly not least, we are so thankful for our loyal clients. We are now photographing the children and grandchildren of the high school seniors that we photographed back when our doors opened in 1973. We have developed amazing relationships with these people and it has been so fun for us to see the families grow over the years. Our clients are truly part of our Focal Point family and we look forward to capturing many more memories in the years to come!
