Ways to Support Small Businesses During COVID-19

Many small businesses are closing their doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If you would like to support your local businesses, here are a few ideas!

Show them love on social media

Like, comment on, and share their posts. It will only take a few seconds and it doesn’t cost anything!

Leave a good review on Yelp, Google Reviews, or Facebook

Did you have a great experience with an employee or even the owner? Share that story! Reviews are read by potential customers and great reviews can lead to more business. In addition, employees and owners love receiving positive reviews from customers.

Buy gift cards/certificates to use later

Call and ask to purchase a gift card/certificate over the phone that you can use in the future! This will put money into small businesses during this slow economic period to help them stay in business. Pay it forward! A great idea is to purchase gift cards to gift to health care providers, teachers, and/or anyone who is struggling during this time.
