College Graduation Portraits
Although your last year of college isn’t like what you thought it would be, we hope you are proud of how far you have come and what you have accomplished. One way you can celebrate this important milestone is by having a portrait session to capture you during this time in your life. We are extending our high school senior sessions and portrait pricing to college graduates! Here’s a guide on college graduate portrait sessions…
Clothing
Clothing is so important for a session! The most important thing is that you feel comfortable in your clothes. Some outfit ideas for your session:
Univerity apparel: Pair a shirt/sweater with your school’s name with jeans!
Cap and gown: Whether you’re graduating over Zoom or in-person, the cap and gown is a powerful symbol of achievement. We love getting a variety of looks with the cap and gown. Wear a nice outfit underneath your cap and gown to make it more fun.
Business-casual outfit: If you’re applying for jobs or applying to more schools, a professional headshot is important. Click here to read the importance of a professional headshot.
What to bring
Props: Diploma, tassel, items related to your career field, etc.
Friends/loved ones: Roommates, best friends you’ve made in college, classmates, your significant other, your parents/grandparents, and so on. Be photographed with some of the people who have helped you get to where you are. We currently are not allowing groups of people inside our studios due to COVID-19, but we can certainly photograph groups on campuses!
Portrait sessions can be at our studios, your university, or any location of your choice. Call (248)478-1113 to schedule your college graduate portraits!
